Mel Weiss, the chairman of the board of directors of Consumer Product Testing Company, passed away on April 18, 2024. He was 89. Mel was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. After receiving a BS from Cortland State University and a MS from Columbia University, he started his professional career as a schoolteacher.
